In Partnership with the City of Wooster, we are proud to celebrate and reward the entrepreneurial spirit in our community. Competitive nominees help energize downtown and deliver meaningful community impact.
PRIZE PACKAGE VALUED AT OVER $10,000
Nominees must:
- Less than five years in business, and
- Own and operate their business, with
- Sustained presence in Downtown Wooster:
- Lease/own brick and mortar in the C-4 District for at least six months, or
- Has minimum six-month lease/Wooster Works commitment, or
- Products sold in C-4 District for at least six months (e.g. at Local Roots), or
- Farmers Market participant for at least 22 weeks
Downtown Wooster is strongest when our businesses work together. This award honors
local businesses who joined forces in 2025 to create a collaborative promotion that energized downtown and delivered meaningful community impact.
PRIZE PACKAGE VALUED AT OVER $1,000
Nominees must:
- Include
two or more locally owned, brick-and-mortar businesses in the C-4 Central Business District
- Have
planned and carried out their own collaborative promotion in 2025
- Demonstrate outcomes such as increased foot traffic, additional sales, and positive publicity
